This Privacy Notice sets out how Counter Terrorism Policing processes personal data and the rights individuals have under the data protection legislation within which we operate.

Information provided by users through online forms is held in our UK based secure data centres and is retained in line with the Data Protection Act 2018 and MPS retention policies.

When using our online forms we record your IP address and also details of which browser you are using. We may use this information in conjunction with any information entered in the form to aid investigations into misuse of our service, and for the prevention or detection of crime, or to protect life.

Your IP address is also used to identify your location should you make use of the geolocation feature on our site. We only use this to show you relevant content, and do not store or share this with third parties.

 We do not attempt to monitor the browsing behaviour of individual users through any hidden means.
