Information about the Role
Working within National Counter Terrorism Policing Headquarters (NCTPHQ), the Junior Project Manager will act as a Manager in the Technology Pillar and be responsible for the successful delivery of specific project(s) within the Technology project portfolio across a multitude of technical disciplines.
You will work closely with our Senior Project Managers, supporting them in their role as well as taking on independent projects where suitable. You will work closely with our operational colleagues to understand their business problem/opportunity, so that you can document this in the aforementioned artefacts. For this role you will need strong communication, written and organisational skills, with an eye for detail, and enjoy problem solving.
Responsibilities
- To assist national CT Policing Community customers in the delivery of defined projects
- Assist the Senior Project Managers in producing artefacts and progressing their projects to meet business needs
- Where and when appropriate, to facilitate workshops and governance boards and produce appropriate project management artefacts
- To work with CTP HQ colleagues; Finance Services, Commercial Services and external agencies to ensure that projects are suitably commissioned and ensure they continue to deliver against the needs of the national CT Policing Community.
About you
Must be an undergraduate student in a sandwich year course returning to study in autumn 2026.
