Information about the Role
This is a developing role: to lead in building the right partnership framework and collaboration strategy which will support CTP position across the National Security landscape, working directly to Director of Change. The role will be reviewed over the year, reflecting the requirements of CTP and its sustained partnering responsibilities. The role holder will work across two key National Security frameworks and closely with SNC office and CTP DG and Directors to ensure business, corporate and strategic alignment.
- The post holder will be responsible for leading development of the @5 Change and Innovation Team (VCIT). This will involve working with CTP and UKIC partners to deliver a multi-agency strategic authority that will collaboratively identify, coordinate and prioritise change across the CT Mission and provide assurance for CT Heads that the CTOC benefits are realised alongside system improvement. In this area the role holder will form a close partnership with CTP Strategy, Performance and Planning [SPP] who – primarily through their strategic planning, design and assurance function – are critical stakeholders in maturing VCIT into a sustainable @5 partnership team based at CTOC.
- The role holder will continue to develop a National Security Collaboration Framework and Strategy, working across CTPHQ and with UKIC, NCA and NPCC colleagues to help realise system benefit through the NS Collaboration coordination team. The role will engage with both internal and external partners to enhance the significant collaboration across the NS community with a focus on three strategic goals:
- Increasing interoperability – skills transfer, data sharing, enabling surge requirements, exercising.
- Reducing duplication – one capability delivers a service for others from the operational to the enabling.
- Build once/use many – create single investment approaches on major projects where joint requirements cohere, requiring enterprise design alignment and strategic capability policy support
Responsibilities
- Establish and sustain relationships with NPCC, NCA, P1-P3 at DD and Director level engagement
- Develop proactive and positive relationships with strategic and operational leads.
- Develop a collaboration framework in the wider SR context, working closely with HO and CO counterparts
- Support ACSO requirements for briefs and steering group requirements
- Work closely with CTPHQ leadership to provide visibility of the collaboration framework and brief internally, particularly ensuring engagement and alignment with SPP activities
- Develop a framework strategy for the next 3 years
