Information about the Role
As part of the CTP HQ Technology Transition team, you will be working as a junior service designer. You will assist the national CT Policing community to develop the end-to-end journey of a service or project, helping develop key project artefacts; statement of requirements; service models, service design packages, service guidance and completing key project templates to ensure smooth transition of services.
You will work closely with our transition leads, business analysts, project delivery team and the operational community by supporting them in their role, as well as taking on independent projects where suitable. You will work closely with our operational colleagues to understand their business problems and opportunities, so that you can document this in the aforementioned artefacts.
Responsibilities
- explaining design decisions, work collaboratively and have responsibility for an operational service.
- working independently on service design activities after being given direction by the head of Transition and senior programme manager
- independently and in collaboration with the Business Analyst team, identifying user issues and important needs
About you
Must be an undergraduate student in a sandwich year course returning to study in autumn 2026.
